Becws Mon has an opening for a Packer and Delivery Driver to join our growing team.

We are looking for an energetic and well organised individual who has a clean driving license with minimum 5 years of driving experience. The hours of work will predominantly be 1:30am - 8:30am Monday - Saturday inclusive with Wednesdays off.

Position Summary:

The position will be mostly packing of orders, and when needed to deliver the Company's products to our customers, across Anglesey, Conwy & Gwynedd.

Essential Functions:

To pack all orders as per delivery sheets To check the packaging to ensure it is correctly addressed and to physically check that the items match the order note prior to leaving the bakery; To clean and organise the bakery ready for the morning shift to start their work When on deliveries, to check the orders on arrival at the delivery address, prior to final delivery, to ensure that the goods and/or packaging has not been damaged or dislodged during transit; To undertake daily safety checks of the delivery vehicle paying attention both to the roadworthiness of the vehicle. To report any problems or potential problems to management immediately To ensure the company vehicle is maintained in good order and is clean and presentable both internally and externally; To adhere to Becws Mon company policies, systems and procedures; To adhere to Health & Safety and road traffic regulations and procedures; To support and maintain a positive working environment; To undertake training, as directed by the Company. To undertake any other reasonable duty as required by the Company.

The successful candidate for the role of Delivery Driver will require:

You must have a good knowledge of the local area Manual task requiring the lifting of multiple 14kg crates Good standard of numeracy and literacy Be able to collate and load up van from printed order sheet and deliver accurately to customers Being comfortable working on your own Reliable and honest Good organisational and prioritisation skills Pro-active, resourceful Adaptable and willing to take on new and different responsibilities as they arise Ability to handle multiple tasks
