Immigration Caseworker / Paralegal - Manchester City Centre



Full-time | Office-based with limited WFH after probation

Competitive salary (26,000-34,000 DOE) + performance bonuses

We are an established and rapidly expanding legal practice specialising in Immigration and Family Law. Based in Manchester City Centre, we support clients across the UK with clear, practical and high-quality legal advice.

As part of our continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Immigration Caseworker / Paralegal to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated legal professional to develop their expertise within a supportive, fast-paced, and client-focused environment.

Your Role



You will handle a varied caseload of privately funded immigration matters and play a key role in supporting clients through the full application process. Responsibilities include:

Casework & Drafting



Manage a diverse caseload of personal immigration matters Prepare application forms, supporting documents, legal representations, and correspondence Draft clear, accurate legal documents to a high standard Ensure files are progressed efficiently and within expected timeframes

Client Care & Communication



Provide clear, tailored advice to clients at each stage of their matter Maintain regular communication and manage expectations effectively Build and maintain strong client relationships

File Management & Compliance



Keep well-organised digital files and records Follow firm procedures for document handling, ID checks and onboarding Maintain confidentiality and adhere to regulatory obligations

Teamwork & Development



Work collaboratively with solicitors and senior caseworkers Support administrative processes where needed Contribute to a positive, professional, and high-performing team culture Take part in ongoing training and professional development

About You



We are looking for someone who is:

Experienced in Immigration Law (minimum 12 months essential) Confident managing their own caseload with appropriate supervision Strong in drafting, organisation and attention to detail Proactive, efficient and able to prioritise competing deadlines Client-focused with excellent communication skills Motivated to grow and develop within a busy legal practice
Desirable (but not essential):

OISC Level 1/2 accreditation Experience in privately funded immigration work
