Job Summary

Elite Law Solicitors are currently recruiting for an experienced Immigration paralegal to join their growing immigration department.

The successful candidate will be expected to be able to take on client's from start to completion with minimal supervision. Exceptional client care skills are a prerequisite as well as having a keen interest to network and contribute to the marketing and business development of the immigration department.

We are looking for candidates with strong communication skills, both written and oral, and who are highly organized and are able to work under pressure of deadlines.

You will need to have a minimum of 12 months solid immigration law experience and an ability to work under pressure and to deadlines where necessary.

You will need to be proficient in the following areas:

Immigration Visa Applications and Appeals
PAP and Judicial Review
Sponsor Licence Applications/renewals/revocation and compliance
Immigration Appeals and bundle preparation
Spouse Visas
British Citizenship
EU Applications
Administrative Review

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

Preparing applications to be submitted to the UKVI and overseas

Draft letters and other legal documents; liaise with the UKVI and other departments as required

Research all aspects of UK Immigration Law

Stay up-to-date with the latest relevant legislation and policy changes

Contribute to company publications and the website

Deal with initial enquiries

Assist the Head of department as and when required.

Lodge bundles at court
