Osbourne Pinner Solicitors is seeking to recruit a full-time Immigration Solicitor or Immigration Adviser (Level 2 or Level 3) to join it's existing immigration team based in both London and Manchester on
a full remote working basis
. Our team is dedicated to meeting the diverse legal needs of clients across both cities.
Job description/Requirements
Qualified Solicitor with a valid practising certificate, or Immigration Adviser with OISC Level 2 or above.
We expect the candidate to manage his/her own casework load. The candidate must have an experience in dealing with following visa application categories:
Refusal, Appeals & Judicial Reviews
Legal services across a wide range of immigration and nationality matters, including the following key areas: Business Immigration: Sponsor License applications and related compliance, Association Agreements, and other legacy European Union applications. Personal Immigration: Applications for students, visitors, and family reunion cases. Enforcement and Detention: Removal cases, port cases, and detained cases, including bail applications and damages claims. Specialist Cases:Adoption and other children's cases and applications under concessions or outside the standard rules.
Knowledge of Sponsor Licence application and assigning and allocating successful Certificate of Sponsorship.
Spouse Visas,
Visit Visas
Family and Private Life - (FLR) Applications
Indefinite Leave to Remain - (ILR) Applications.
Naturalization and British Citizenship Applications.
Refusal, Appeals & Judicial Reviews
Prepare all types of immigration appeals effectively. Identify appropriate cases for judicial review.Conduct relevant litigation, including Upper Tribunal Judicial Review and High Court proceedings.
Key Responsibilities:
Drafting representation and letters to the Home Office, Courts and other third parties.
Attending clients to take their detailed instructions
Filling visas application forms
Advising clients in relation to the supporting documents for required visa category.
Be able to help with applications to the Home Office on behalf of clients and have full knowledge about immigration rules and Point Based System.
Have an ability to meet deadlines and work well in a busy office environment.
Have good communication skills, a formal vocabulary, and be confident when speaking to clients both over the phone and in person.
Be familiar with Microsoft and Outlook.
Have good note taking skills.
Be able to prepare cases independently.
Have excellent drafting skills.
