Summary

We are seeking a skilled CAD Technician to join our dynamic team in Preston, Lancashire. In this role, you will play a vital part in transforming design concepts into detailed technical drawings, contributing significantly to our projects across various sectors.

Responsibilities

Operate IMOS iX CAD software Generate MPR files for CNC machines Create detailed CAD drawings and models based on project specifications. Collaborate with design teams to ensure accuracy and feasibility of designs. Revise designs based on feedback from engineers and project managers. Maintain organized documentation of all design files and revisions. Assist in the preparation of project presentations and proposals. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all designs. Provide support during the construction phase by clarifying design intent.

Qualifications

Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, NavisWorks, Civil 3D, Revit, and MicroStation. Strong understanding of CAD principles and construction processes. Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills. Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members.
