The Implementation Specialist plays a key role in supporting the growth and retention of the Open GI client base by providing end-to-end support across the implementation of projects. You will collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure seamless project execution from contract to delivery and post-implementation, aligning solutions with business objectives and client needs.

Your key responsibilities



General





Responsible for delivering, configuring and educating a customer on all of the Open GI products where possible Deliver Out of the Box (OOTB) implementations, Portals and AI tooling deliverables Configure and maintain insurance software applications using toolsets to meet client-specific requirements Develop dynamic document templates for both customer and internal stakeholders, where required, adhering to their requirements and ensuring quality and consistency Design and implement data capture screens across all the Open GI Back Office systems, to streamline policy administration processing Co-ordinate internal workstreams and delivery timelines, ensuring alignment with client expectations. Perform functional testing to validate system behaviour, support quality assurance throughout the implementation lifecycle and to validate the configuration activities undertaken by yourself and the team Design and deliver training courses for external clients and internal team members, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and system adoption Maintain the comprehensive suite of training material, for both internal and external customers, on the Support site / intranet Provide consultancy to customers, where required, enabling them to achieve their goals with our suite of products Ensure all involved parties on each project are kept up to date on issues and progress Ensure a high level of customer service whilst remaining commercially focussed Consistently meets deadlines and keeps stakeholders informed Delivers customer contracts in line with Open GI quality and cost expectations Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of Open GI's products, customer needs, company directives and industry trends. Develop and maintain highly effective working relationships with colleagues across departments and in industry Generate and share ideas and recommendations to improve productivity and processes. Provide guidance, training or implementing requirements to support and / or achieve the resolution of live operational issues Pursue a program of self-development

Qualifications



Educated to degree level or equivalent (advantageous) Chartered Insurance Institute Qualifications or working towards (advantageous)

Experience



Strong experience in similar role Experience in software/insurance industry, including an understanding of insurance trading and mainstream insurance products Proven background of customer relationship management within the insurance industry (advantageous) Prior experience in designing and delivering training

Skills



Ability to travel to customer sites to perform training / implementation projects required High level of expertise in IT with excellent knowledge of MS Office Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to rapidly build strong relationships Excellent analytical, problem-solving and synthesising skills required to ensure deliver the right solutions Driven self-starter with ability to work independently under minimal supervision Engages stakeholders to take action; serves as a source of expert advice Good time management, planning and prioritising skills Strong and polished presentation skills. Competent and comfortable presenting to small and large groups of individuals at all levels on products and processes Proven ability to learn new technology and product capabilities Ability to handle customer challenges efficiently with diplomacy and tact

Please note, this is a hybrid role requiring a minimum two days in-office attendance following an initial training period where full office attendance would be required at our

Worcester office.
