As an Import Clerk, you will be the backbone of our operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly from start to finish. Your responsibilities will include:
- Rates and Quotation Management: Quoting clients and managing rates effectively.
- Booking Shipments: Collaborating with overseas agents to book shipments.
- Customs Clearance: Handling Customs Clearance efficiently.
- Delivery Coordination: Booking deliveries and checking the arrival of vessels.
- Client Communication: Keeping clients updated on bookings and arrivals.
- Documentation Management: Completing sales invoices and passing purchase invoices.
- Release Management: Obtaining releases from shipping lines and coordinating with hauliers.
- Systems Use: Familiarity with Destin8 and CNS is a plus!
