Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Improver/Roofer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of roofing systems and be adept at using various hand and power tools. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. The Roofer will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofs on residential and commercial properties.

Duties

Install roofing materials such as slates and tiles, according to specifications. Perform repairs on existing roofs, including patching leaks and replacing damaged materials. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively in the installation process. Conduct heavy lifting as required when handling roofing materials. Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople to ensure seamless project execution.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Roofer or in a similar role within the construction industry. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and equipment related to roofing tasks. Good physical condition with the capability for heavy lifting and working at heights. Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality workmanship. A full, clean driver's licence is essential!
