We are currently seeking a diligent, methodical, and experienced professional to join our team as a Legal and Executive Associate. This is a unique position offering direct involvement with the owner across multiple businesses, combining legal, administrative, and executive support responsibilities.
You will be deeply involved in reviewing documents, drafting contracts, conducting research, organising funding, and supporting the day-to-day operations of the businesses. Additionally, you'll support the owner on personal and confidential matters, requiring a high level of discretion and trust.
This role is ideal for someone with a background in law, strong administrative capability, and previous experience as a personal or executive assistant.
Key Responsibilities & ChallengesLegal Support
Conduct due diligence and document review for various business projects
Draft contracts, NDAs, leases, and legal agreements
Prepare and manage closing documents, bundles, and bibles
Assist with DD reports, verification, and legal proof-reading
Conduct legal research and summarise findings clearly
Handle pre- and post-closing tasks for transactions
Ensure confidentiality and accuracy in redactions and disclosures
Administrative & Operational Support
Organise digital and physical filing systems
Create folder structures and manage archiving protocols
Assist with indexing, copy checking, and document formatting
Liaise professionally with lawyers, clients, and internal stakeholders
Coordinate tasks across multiple projects and companies
Provide general support to ensure smooth business operations
Executive Assistance
Work closely with the owner on business and personal matters
Manage calendar scheduling, correspondence, and follow-ups
Support the owner's initiatives, including research and planning
Exercise discretion, judgment, and initiative in all tasks
Candidate Profile Essential Qualities
High attention to detail, especially with repetitive or complex tasks
Excellent written and verbal communication in English
Organised, proactive, and capable of managing competing priorities
Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Able to work independently and collaboratively
Preferred Qualifications
Law degree or equivalent; qualified solicitor or paralegal preferred
Previous experience in a legal, executive assistant, or corporate admin role
Commercial awareness and strong business acumen
Familiarity with corporate law, real estate leases, insurance, and bankruptcy law
Technical Proficiency
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Comfortable using legal tech tools and platforms
Strong research and presentation skills
