About the Role
Level: 4
Contract: Permanent
Location: London or Southampton
Department: HR
We're looking for a high-performing Specialist to help drive meaningful change across our organisation, someone who brings energy, curiosity, and the ability to get things done. You will be part of a dedicated three-person team within the HR and Communications department, collaborating with various stakeholders to implement Quilter's Inclusion, Diversity, and Wellbeing Action Plan. This UK-focused role is ideal for someone enthusiastic about helping Quilter stand out in the industry.
This role goes beyond raising awareness, we're looking for someone who understands how inclusion, equity and wellbeing underpin business performance, and who can translate insight into action. You'll be as comfortable using data to identify issues as you are building relationships to deliver solutions.
From tackling mental health absence and wellbeing risks, to closing gaps in diversity representation and employee experience, you'll play a key role in delivering or strategy and supporting sustainable growth.
Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyse data (e.g. absence, demographics, engagement scores) to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for action. Assist the Head of I&D in deploying the I&D action plan across all business areas working closely with HR and Talent Acquisition Business Partners. Drive critical firmwide initiatives, creating toolkits, programmes, and campaigns in line with the action plan. Administer the various logistics for internal workshops, roundtables, programme events and meetings, including but not limited to, drafting invitations, office communications, marketing, and promotion of offerings such as workshops and special events. Strengthen and support our diversity communities and Thrive programme, ensuring activity is strategic, inclusive and impactful. Develop high-quality content for reports, internal communications, and strategic meetings. Assist with research for projects and programming, including staying abreast of legislation, activity and trends within the Financial Services and Wealth market relating to the ID&W space, and reporting back to the wider team. Champion a culture of inclusion and wellbeing that goes beyond awareness days to address the systemic and day-to-day experiences of our people.

About YouYou're someone who takes initiative, is a self-starter, and enjoys seeing things through. You're comfortable navigating ambiguity and bringing clarity and structure to your work. You have proven experience delivering inclusion, diversity, and/or wellbeing initiatives in a similar HR or consultancy role, with clear outcomes you can speak to. Strong business partnering skills - you are able to build trusted relationships with senior leaders, challenge constructively, and influence decision-making. Commercial awareness - you understand how inclusion and wellbeing affect business performance, talent, and risk, and you use this to prioritise work that adds real value. Analytical mindset - you are confident using data to uncover trends, spot risks or gaps, and develop targeted, evidence-based solutions. Strong experience of translating complex data into meaningful narratives. Excellent communication skills - you are able to simplify complex issues, tailor messaging to different audiences, and influence through storytelling and insight. Project management capability - you have the proven ability to track, prioritise, and drive multiple concurrent projects to success. Outcome-focused - you care about what works, not just what's trending. You measure success by the change you enable, not just the activity you run. Strong awareness of DEI and wellbeing and the ability to coach managers at various levels to develop their understanding and capacity to become more inclusive. Ability to balance conflicting demands and priorities is essential. Proven experience of explaining complex topics and concepts to a broad range of audiences. An FS background is not mandatory, a learning and curious mindset with proven experience of sharing creative ideas to drive inclusion and bring all colleagues together is essential. Strong understanding of HR regulation and legislation.

Closing date for applications is: 27th April 2025.
