Job Description

The Inclusion Officer will play a key role in delivering community engagement initiatives aligned with Barnsley FC Community Trust's strategic objectives. This role involves managing staff and volunteers, coordinating inclusive programmes, and fostering partnerships to increase participation across diverse groups.

Key Responsibilities



Programme Delivery & Management

Deliver activities in line with contractual KPIs and departmental strategic goals. Lead and manage programmes as directed by the Head of Participation & Inclusion. Coordinate women and girls' initiatives including dance camps, football sessions, and weekend clubs. Act as the primary contact for Barnsley FC Ladies, overseeing training, matchday logistics, social media, and event coordination.

Community Engagement

Identify and engage underrepresented groups in Barnsley, including refugees, homeless individuals, and the elderly. Develop and maintain relationships with local stakeholders, charities, and organisations to support inclusive participation.

Operational & Financial Oversight

Support budget management and expenditure tracking for inclusion activities. Monitor and evaluate projects using data systems such as Views and Salesforce. Line manage staff involved in relevant programmes and ensure clarity of roles and responsibilities.

Professional Development & Representation

Organise and support CPD events for staff within the Trust. Deputise for the Head of Participation & Inclusion when required. Represent Barnsley FC Community Trust professionally and in alignment with its core values. Promote the Trust's work to enhance visibility and impact.

Administrative Duties

Prepare reports, conduct research, and attend team meetings as necessary. Ensure compliance with all Trust policies and procedures. Undertake training and CPD relevant to the role. Carry out any other duties as reasonably requested by the line manager or organisation.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 25,000.00-28,000.00 per year
