As our new Inclusion Teacher, you will plan and deliver high-quality, individualised learning tailored to meet the diverse needs of our learners. You will work collaboratively with support staff, therapists, families and external agencies to create inclusive, engaging and safe learning environments.
Using creative and flexible approaches, you will support the children's academic progress while nurturing their emotional development. You will also champion inclusion across the school, helping pupils to build confidence, resilience and independence.
Rainbow Fish
provides state-of-the-art facilities for children with complex cognition and learning difficulties aged between four and nine, who have an Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP). The children work towards being able to integrate into mainstream for some learning, with a high level of support to meet their specific needs from the provision staff. Our curriculum centres on each child as an individual, looking at their starting points and next steps. Class sizes are up to 8 pupils.

Qualified Teacher Status
Experience teaching within a SEN/Inclusion setting would be advantageous
Experience/understanding of working with students who have Education Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)
Be passionate about teaching and learning and have a positive outlook and excellent interpersonal skills
Outstanding classroom practice with high expectations for achievements and behaviour
Provide a differentiated, balanced, progressive, varied and stimulating curriculum in line with statutory and school requirements while taking into account each pupils' special educational needs
You will be dedicated to ensure that all of our children achieve their very best
An aspiring leader of learning and happy to grasp exciting CPD opportunities

About Us
Formally known as Penhale Infant School and Newbridge Junior School, we officially joined together in September 2022 to form Penbridge Infants and Junior School. The infants site comprises of a nursery with 24 places for funded 2-4 year olds and a 2-form entry infant school with 180 children on the roll including 24 in our Rainbow Fish Inclusion Unit. The juniors site comprises of a 4-form entry school with 440 children on the roll.
