Inclusive Learning (SEND) Tutor - EKC Sheppey College

In this role, you will:

Deliver tailored 1:1 and small group support Design and deliver engaging, focused learning tasks Create and evaluate support programmes to boost progress Collaborate with curriculum teams to embed inclusive strategies Contribute to staff training to promote inclusive best practice Support EHCP consultations and annual reviews Work with learners from Level 1 to Level 3, across varied subject areas

Note: this role is for 15 hours per week with a salary of 13,283 pro rata per annum

Are you passionate about inclusion and driven to help every learner thrive? We're looking for someone who's not only supportive and empathetic but ready to ignite confidence and ambition in young people who need it most.

In this rewarding role, you will:

Champion inclusion by helping learners overcome personal and educational barriers Design and deliver creative, engaging sessions that spark curiosity and build confidence Use your interpersonal skills to connect with and motivate reluctant learners Track progress and tailor interventions that support individual growth and success Deliver a range of programmes and flexible sessions from Level 1 to Level 3 Empower learners to build essential English, maths, and employability skills Inspire students to believe in themselves and achieve their goals - in college and in life

We're looking for someone who:

Brings energy, positivity, and empathy to every interaction Has experience working with learning differences or SEND (desirable, but not essential) May have taught, delivered training, or supported learners 1:1 - but full training will be provided Wants to be part of a supportive, values-driven team making a real impact
