The Vacancy
We are recruiting in our Customer and Housing department for an Income & Allocations Assistant. This is a permanent role.

We are seeking a person with excellent customer service skills. If you have experience of working in social housing this would be a bonus but is not essential.

The role of the Income & Allocations Assistant is varied. You will also work closely with the Tenancies, Income Officers, Customer Ambassadors and Built Environment teams to ensure excellent customer service. You will mainly have telephone and email contact with our customers; however, there will be some face-to-face contact within the office.

Amongst other things you will:



Lead on the mutual exchange process and give advice to customers and other housing providers Provide administrative support for the Income and Allocations team and wider directorate as needed. Liaising with Local Authorities in relation to housing applications

To be successful in this role you must have:

Excellent customer services skills Be self-motivated, and able to organise your own workload but also work as part of team Excellent record keeping skills to ensure all information is available on our IT systems. Good IT skills including Microsoft Office applications and a willingness and aptitude to learn our in-house systems.
