This new role will require the successful candidate to be proactive in engaging with the community, seeking out corporates, third parties and individuals to raise awareness of the Organisation and gain financial support. The role requires you to be driven to work towards challenging income targets, and be committed to making a real difference to all those that live at Acorn Village.

Overview of Acorn Village
Acorn Village, became established in the mid 1970's due to the families of children with learning disabilities determination to build a brighter future for their loved ones as they became adults.
We offer high quality care and accommodation to adults with learning disabilities in a residential and supported living setting surrounded on a beautiful 14-acre site.
Key Responsibilities
To research and build a pipeline of ongoing fundraising activity with particular focus on corporate, community groups and individuals to raise income to an agreed target.
Provide appropriate support for external fundraising events as required.
Build donor retention by ensuring supporters feel engaged with and are part of 'Team Acorn'
Monitor the "support us" inbox, acting as first point of contact for a wide range of enquirers and supporters, maintaining a professional approach at all times.
Undertaking marketing tasks as and when required.
Support the Head of Communications and Income Generation in all aspects of fundraising when needed.
Assist in promoting the profile of the Organisation.
A minimum of years' experience in this field is a requirement.
