INDEPENDANT TRAVEL TRAINER - 2 POSTS - FIXED TERM UNTIL OCTOBER 2026



The Passenger Transport Team is looking to recruit two independent Travel Trainers.



You will play a key role in promoting awareness of, and participation in, our Independent Travel Training Scheme among young people, families and other services. You will facilitate preparatory learning for young people entering the scheme by coordinating, supporting schools to provide ITT programmes and delivering programmes directly to young people.



You will attend annual reviews of Education Health and Care Plans where necessary to ensure appropriate planning; liaising with parents/carers and Special Educational Needs Coordinators to develop individual travel training and personal safety plans for identified young people.
