This is an exciting opportunity to become part of our advocacy service in Derbyshire. The role will involve providing face-to-face support with people and supporting people at meetings with professionals. For people who lack the capacity to make specific decisions, you will be obtaining and sharing their views with health or social care professionals involved in making best-interest decisions on their behalf. Your role will include representing people who are subject to the Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards. You will also be supporting people through safeguarding processes. You will be working with people with dementia, people with learning disabilities, autistic people, people with physical and sensory impairment, people with an acquired brain injury and those with a mental health need.
