Charity seeking committed and compassionate Independent Living Skills Facilitators

The Fortune Centre of Riding Therapy (FCRT) enables people with special needs to have better control over their life and relate more successfully to others through Equine Facilitated Education and Therapy. We provide a safe, comfortable, and person-centred environment for those in our care, promoting independence, community integration and an active and healthy lifestyle.

We are currently recruiting for permanent Independent Living Skills Facilitators to work at our Registered Care Homes in the New Forest paid at 12.94 per hour. In addition, the college provides a 750 referral bonus, a retail benefits platform, a health care plan, an income protection scheme, pension membership, free meals with drinks and free parking.

There are a variety of weekday and weekend shifts available covering the hours of 7am to 9am, 16.00pm to 22.00pm and overnight shifts, over a 40 week period.

Candidates will ideally hold a Care Certificate Level 2 qualified or hold an accredited equivalent.

As part of your role, you will support our young people with independent living skills such as personal care, medication, shopping, cooking, and keeping their house clean. A professional attitude to your work and the ability to adhere to all company policies, procedures and organisational guidelines is essential.

It would be great if you have experience of working with horses, but not essential.
