Salary details: Grade 5, 25,178 per annum, pro rata
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Part time, 20 hours per week, term time only, split shift

The Independent Travel Training team work with children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to help develop their independence skills in travelling from home to school or college. We are looking to appoint a Travel Trainer who will deliver the travel training to young people across the borough. It is essential that the successful candidate has good communication skills, experience being responsible for children and able to form good relationships with children, parents/carers and school staff.
Previous experience of working with children, particularly children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities would be desirable.
