Amazon is seeking an Analyst to join the team working on a project(s) to build global indirect tax reporting tool(s). This team sits within Amazon's Tax Data Management Solutions organization.
We are looking for an indirect tax specialist to join the team steering the design, end user experience and complex tax functions within the tool(s). You will be involved throughout the project lifecycle working alongside the management team during the build, refinement and enabling end users when tool(s) are rolled out to compliance teams. Key job responsibilities
The role will be responsible for taking hands on day to day active participation in designing and building of a global indirect tax reporting tool(s).
You will be involved with creating wire frames, prototypes and requirements documentation.
Have a strong bias for action and the ability to deliver results this is a great opportunity for an indirect tax compliance specialist to grow into tax technology and the building of global indirect tax tools.
A bachelor's degree or similar qualification or experience in Accounting, Tax, Business or Finance degree or related field.
Experience of international VAT in either an advisory capacity and/or a compliance environment.
Able to work in a fast paced, informal, and often ambiguous environment.
Takes ownership and responsibility for their work under minimal supervision.
Organized, analytical and methodical with strong attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
