The Brain Tumour Charity is leading the way in research, support, and advocacy for everyone affect by brain tumours. Our mission is simple but urgent: to accelerate a cure for brain tumours and improve life for everyone affected by this devastating disease.




This is a high-impact role focused on delivering exciting, multi-channel campaigns that attract new donors and builds lasting relationships. You'll be at the forefront of our growth strategy, working collaboratively across teams and with external partners to deliver campaigns that are data-driven, insight-led, and emotionally compelling.

Location:

While contracted to our office in Fleet, Hampshire, our team supports a blend of office and home working provided you have adequate broadband and IT capability, with an average of 2-3 days in the office each week.


Working hours:

This role is 37.5 hours per week, with some out of hours working.


Benchmarked salary:

c.46,150 (dependent on level)








We're looking for an experienced Individual Giving Manager who can drive transformational change in IG fundraising, to achieve our ambitious fundraising targets. As well as being a hands on IG professional, you will manage a high performing team to deliver the entire journey from acquisition to stewardship.








Lead the team to project manage and deliver acquisition campaigns across face-to-face, digital, prize-led, and direct marketing channels. Develop and deliver multi-channel strategies to attract, convert, and retain supporters. Champion innovation by testing new approaches, messaging, and formats to maximise reach and ROI. Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Community Experience, Data) to build seamless supporter journeys and ensure excellent stewardship. Manage external suppliers including creative agencies, fundraising partners, and fulfilment houses to deliver campaigns on time and on budget. Own the budget and performance: forecast, monitor, and report on KPIs, identifying opportunities for growth and optimisation. Use data and insights to inform targeting, segmentation, and campaign development. Be a CRM champion, using supporter data to drive decisions and track performance. Lead and develop a high performing team Champion individual giving across the charity and provide on-going training and support on these areas. Ensure compliance with fundraising and gambling regulations and best practice standards.

Demonstrate proven experience in individual giving, with a strong focus on acquisition and campaign delivery. Expertise in face-to-face fundraising, digital acquisition, and prize-led giving. An engaging individual who builds strong connections and drives internal collaboration across the organisation. A creative and analytical mindset, with a passion for testing and learning. Strong leadership and team management skills including the ability to influence colleagues and drive through new strategic initiatives. Excellent project management and stakeholder engagement abilities. Confidence working across multiple channels and with external partners. A deep understanding of donor motivations and how to turn interest into long-term support. Solid understanding of and compliance with the principles of charity law and data protection regulations, including lottery fundraising.

Experience:



+ Led multi-channel campaigns across both acquisition and development including face to face, digital, email, direct mail and telephone fundraising + Proven ability to manage multiple fundraising projects simultaneously, delivering campaigns on time and within budget. + Proven ability to manage multiple fundraising projects simultaneously, delivering campaigns on time and within budget.
+ Experience in prize-led fundraising such as lottery and raffle programmes including gambling commission regulations + Developed and delivered individual giving strategies, driving increased income from regular and one-off donors + Managed donor stewardship programmes to enhance supporter retention and lifetime value

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:



+ Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills and excellent written skills including strong copy writing + Excellent project management skills and leading charity wide teams to deliver
+ Familiarity with developing stewardship approaches and supporter journeys that maximise supporter loyalty
+ Proficient in using fundraising CRMs for data analysis, reporting, and campaign optimisation. + Proficient in using fundraising CRMs (e.g. Raiser's Edge, Donorfy, Salesforce) for data analysis, reporting, and campaign optimisation.
+ Some experience of having worked on legacy marketing or collaborated with legacy marketing colleagues + Strong understanding of UK fundraising regulations, including GDPR and Fundraising Regulator guidance, with a commitment to ethical fundraising practices
