Hours of work: 32 hours per week
Working pattern: Part-time, Term-time only (working for 39 weeks per year plus 6 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years\' continuous service)

About the role

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for someone to join our fabulous Bluebell Federation family as an individual needs assistant working at Chailey St Peters.

- to support an individual child on a one-to-one basis ;

- to supervise and take care of the children during the lunch time period in all areas,

inside and outside of the school.

This is a busy and varied role, but we will help you to get the support you need to

succeed.

The successful candidate will need:

  • to have experience of supporting children in a classroom environment;
  • to have knowledge and understanding of child development;
  • to be effective at establishing good relationships with pupils, staff and parents;
  • to have good maths and English skills;
  • to have high expectations of themselves and pupils;
  • to embrace the Christian ethos of the school;
  • to promote a positive image the school through their work and attitude.
