The Turing School is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Individual Needs Assistant to join our thriving team.


As an Individual Needs Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in supporting students with special educational needs, both within and outside the classroom. This involves:


Providing tailored one-to-one and small group support to students, helping them access the curriculum and achieve their learning goals. Assisting teachers in adapting materials and activities to meet individual student requirements. Fostering a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere, promoting student independence, and building their confidence. Working closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to monitor student progress and implement effective support strategies. Supporting students with social, emotional, and behavioural development. This is an incredibly rewarding role for someone who is patient, empathetic, and dedicated to empowering young learners. We are looking for someone who:


Has a genuine passion for supporting young people with diverse learning needs. Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Is adaptable, resilient, and able to work effectively as part of a team. Demonstrates a commitment to our school's values of diversity, innovation, respect, and aspiration. Has relevant experience or qualifications in supporting children with special educational needs (desirable but not essential, as training can be provided for the right candidate).
