Job Summary

Due to expansion and increase in workload we are seeking a skilled Commercial/ Industrial Approved Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in an industrial/ commercial setting. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to ensuring electrical and safety standards are met. Must hold a minimum of SJIB Approved Electrician Card, C&G2391 or equivalent (Preferred) and be able to demonstrate significant experience in carrying out EICR's in non domestic environments using industry approved software such as EasyCert/ Fast Test etc.

Must hold a full UK drivers license.

Duties

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, machinery, and equipment. Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs. Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues. Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an Industrial/ Commercial Electrician or similar role. Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools related to electrical work. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and troubleshooting techniques. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Relevant certifications or qualifications in electrical engineering or a related field are preferred. A commitment to maintaining a safe working environment. Hold SJIB Approved Electrician Card as a minimum. C&G2391 or equivalent. (Preferred) Must hold a full UK drivers license.
