The Role

We are looking for a dependable and motivated Industrial Cleaner to join our team. They will maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our new state of the art facility. You will play a key role in supporting day-to-day operations on the factory floor and the office space, ensuring the smooth running of operations, maintaining safety standards, and meeting production targets.

Responsibilities

Operate cleaning machinery and equipment in a safe and efficient manner Carry out manual handling tasks Clean designated areas including workshop floor, offices, toilets, kitchens, corridors, and communal areas Sweep, vacuum, mop, dust, and polish surfaces as required Empty bins and dispose of rubbish appropriately Refill supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels Report any maintenance issues or hazards to the supervisor Adhere to health & safety, COSHH, and infection control procedures Lock/unlock premises if required Complete basic documentation or checks as required Maintain external grounds & areas to ensure free of litter Undertake any seasonal duties as directed by supervisor Co-ordinate with external waste management provider to plan waste collections #

About you

Previous experience in an industrial, manufacturing or warehouse environment Willingness to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team and independently Basic literacy and numeracy skills Flexible with shift patterns and overtime when needed Previous experience in an industrial, manufacturing or warehouse environment
