Overview

We are seeking a dedicated cleaner to join our team, responsible for carrying out industrial, domestic and contract cleaning services across various locations throughout Anglesey and Gwynedd. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in cleaning and maintenance tasks. Prior experience with buffer machines, scrubber driers and wet vacuums is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

Perform general cleaning duties including vacuuming, mopping, dusting and sanitizing. Utilise tools and machines for specialised cleaning or maintenance tasks when required. Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are stored correctly and are in good working order, reporting any issues to management immediately. Follow health and safety procedures at all times to create a safe working environment for yourself, colleagues and clients. Follow instructions from management and supervisors to carry out tasks efficiently and professionally.

Qualifications

Previous experience in cleaning or maintenance roles is desirable but not essential; training will be provided. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. Good physical fitness and stamina to perform manual tasks over extended periods. Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. Role particulars

The contracted hours will be 20 per week, with the opportunity to increase to meet the needs of the business. Hourly rate starting at 12.21 Usual working schedule will be an 8am start from our office in Gaerwen, Anglesey Working days to be agreed to meet the needs of the business
