We are seeking a skilled Industrial Door Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial door systems. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can ensure that all door systems operate efficiently and safely, contributing to the overall functionality of our facilities.
Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair various types of industrial doors, including roller shutters, sectional doors, and high-speed doors.
Conduct regular inspections to identify issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems related to door systems and implement effective solutions.
Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions for their industrial door requirements.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory management.
Provide exceptional customer service.
Adhere to health and safety regulations while working.
Qualifications
Proven experience as an Industrial Door Engineer
Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems related to industrial doors.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise with clients and team members.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
A valid driver's licence is preferred for travel between job sites.
Relevant qualifications or certifications in engineering or a related field would be advantageous but not essential.
