Job Overview
Experienced door engineers are required to join a team of independent engineers, working with Aardee Security Shutters Ltd and their own engineering teams.
1-man and 2-man teams can expect to work on installations, repair, and planned maintenance work, as and when required, throughout Scotland, with the majority of work in West Central Scotland.
Applicants are expected have substantial experience in industrial and commercial door work.
They should have some Health and Safety training, and as part of a growing relationship, Aardee will subsidise further training which may be necessary.
Commercial sub-contract rates will depend on the experience, qualifications, and availability.
All applicants should be CIS registered, be insured and have their own vans and tools.
Main Tasks
Install, service, and repair various types of industrial doors, including sectional, roller shutters, steel doors, and high-speed doors. Document all work carried out, using the Aardee job management system. Follow the health and safety guidelines as issued by Aardee.
Requirements
Have a proven experience in installing, maintaining, or repairing industrial or commercial door systems . You will be required to have a basic DBS check , renewed annually. Valid driving licence is essential .
