Electrician (Working Supervisor) - (Deeside, Wrexham and Chester Area)

We are seeking an experienced and proactive

Working Supervisor

to join and support our growing electrical contracting business. This is a key position overseeing a number of small remote teams working across various local sites.

The role is approximately

80% support and 20% hands on when needed

, providing both hands-on support and strong operational leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Supervision & Operations

Day-to-day supervision of electricians working across multiple sites. Planning, organising and coordinating labour, materials and site resources. Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule and to company quality standards. Acting as the first point of contact for onsite queries, issues and technical guidance.

Compliance & QS Support

Supporting our existing

NICEIC Qualified Supervisor

with certification, audits and compliance. Completing electrical certification, test sheets, and documentation to NICEIC standards Ensuring all work is compliant with current regulations and company procedures. Assisting with site inspections, quality checks and technical reporting.

Team Development

Supporting and mentoring electricians and apprentices Helping to strengthen and grow the team as the team expands Promoting a positive, safe and efficient working culture across all sites

Hands-On Electrical Work (20%)

Carrying out installation, testing, inspection and maintenance when required Providing technical assistance on more complex tasks or site challenges

Person Specification

Essential

Time-served electrician with relevant qualifications (NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition). Site supervision experience. Good understanding of NICEIC compliance and certification. Excellent organisational skills and ability to coordinate multiple sites. Strong communicator with the ability to support and lead small teams. Full UK driving licence.

Desirable

Experience in supporting a QS or working as an NICEIC (QS) Qualified Supervisor Testing & Inspection (2391 or equivalent) Experience within a small-medium electrical contractor Ability to influence improvements and support operational growth.
