Job Description

As a result of our continuing success and growth we now require an Industrial Engineer to join our team.

Based in the field your role will involve the day-to-day maintenance and repair of Industrial Machinery in a number of our customers' premises throughout Scotland.

Ideally you will have a proven track record of an industrial engineering role, good geographical knowledge and a full clean driving license.

Role Description - Field based Industrial Engineer

Salary: Competitive - Depending on experience

This role requires the applicant to be proficient in the following:

Essential

Industrial electrical fault finding on machinery and control systems Be able to understand electronic drawing schematics Install and test new parts on machinery Experience in electrical installations including control panels Liaise with client departments, customers and other engineering and production colleagues Good organisational and planning skills to ensure that tasks are completed in an efficient and timely manner
Desirable

PLC Programming and Fault Finding Experience on different protocols like Ethernet, Profibus and Modbus Knowledge of EPLAN or equivalent electrical design package Be able to develop and install electrical related machinery Be able to create electronic drawings schematics using an electrical package Carry out quality inspections on jobs Certified in 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
