The Opportunity
On this 10-12-month Internship you'll work alongside skilled professionals and from day one you will be working on real life meaningful projects - adding add value to clients, while exploring challenges with curiosity and creativity. You'll learn from others and begin creating your professional network ready for when you graduate. There will be regular learning sessions with our leadership team, opportunities for site visits to local projects and all kinds of social events that will support your learning and development.

Our Mechanical Engineers apply their specialist skills to deliver design and consulting services for the vital infrastructure that makes modern life possible. Our work includes but is not limited to water and wastewater treatment, bio-resources, pumping stations, reservoirs, active flood defences, hydro power, offshore wind and renewable energy, steam generation, industrial manufacturing and process plants. We design new infrastructure, improve existing asset performance and are actively pursuing more sustainable infrastructure for the societies we live and work within.
You'll help us to deliver effective and professional services for a range of varied and high-profile clients. While you'll have a great deal of responsibility from day one, we'll give you the chance to take on more as you progress and broaden your skills.
Typical responsibilities could include:

• Design calculations

• BIM model input

• Technical report writing

• Mechanical equipment specification and selection

Due to the multi-disciplinary nature of our design teams, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experts in the following fields: Electrical Engineers, Process Scientists, Civil and Structural Engineers, Environmental Consultants, Project Managers, Geotechnical Engineers, Renewable Energy specialists and Planners.
