About the role

The role is Fixed-term for 12 months in the first instance





The post-holder will provide high-level strategic and operational support to maintain and nurture opportunities and relationships with businesses as well as manage contracts and keep abreast of industry needs. The post-holder will work closely with a Business Development Manager who will generate the initial opportunities and relationships. The two roles will need to identify the handoff point for relationships



The post-holder will require skills in project and budget management, business planning, reporting and networking with internal and external, current and potential, project stakeholders.



The position requires a post-holder who is able to network effectively with a wide range of people, and work flexibly.



The roles supporting specific Centres and Institutes will be coordinated through a Faculty Centres Manager, who may also be working across a number of areas


About you

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate:


Undergraduate degree in an Engineering or STEM subject or equivalent level of knowledge and experience Experience of coordination and management of multi-stakeholder projects. Proven experience in successfully managing industry collaborations or partnerships Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to develop effective relationships with internal and external staff at all levels, in particular existing and potential commercial and industrial partners Excellent organisational skills, time management and project management skills, including the ability to work effectively on numerous projects simultaneously.
