Wise Employment are recruiting for Industrial Manufacturing Operatives based in Plymouth on a permanent basis.
Hours and Salary:Monday - Thursday 7am - 5.30pm - working 40hrs per week with a 3-day weekend! 25,397 per annum plus lots of opportunity for overtime at excellent rates.
Over time: Flexibility is required. If working Monday - Thursday (after having worked the standard 40 hours) or Friday the hourly equivalent pay rate is 15.26 per hour, Saturday is 18.32 per hour and Sunday's/Bank Holidays is 24.42 per hour.
As an Industrial Manufacturing Operative, you will need to have experience and understanding of manufacturing processes. Desirable Skills:

• Previous Manufacturing / Production / Engineering / Construction knowledge is required
• Able to understand technical drawings, and apply technical information.
• Fitting and assembly skills including the use of hand tools and marking/measuring out materials.
• Ability to learn and integrate new skills.
• Efficient at communicating throughout all levels of an organisation.
• Able to work to tight deadlines to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Aspiring and keen to advance within the organisation.

Day to Day Duties:

• Work productively and safely in compliance with the company's systems of work.
• Minimise waste by using materials and consumable items efficiently.
• Maintain good levels of workmanship and traceability.
• Measuring and inspecting products using a variety of equipment.
• Support other departments and carry out other duties as and when required.
• Keep work area clean and tidy at all times.

Training and Additional Information:

• Participate in training where required.
• This role may also be subject to a Drug and Alcohol test.
