Overview

We are seeking a Sewing Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining and will be responsible for operating various machines to produce precision parts. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience in a warehouse setting and sewing skills are advantageous.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain the machines. Read and interpret drawings and specifications to produce components that meet precise dimensions Conduct regular inspections of machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise Collaborate with team members to meet production targets while adhering to quality standards Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations

Experience

Proven experience as a Machinist or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment Familiarity with warehouse operations is beneficial Sewing experience is considered an asset, enhancing versatility in production tasks Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team Excellent attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality work
