Monday - Thursday 8am - 4.30pm, Friday 8am - 1.30pm (37.5hrs pw). May require occasional evening or weekend work to meet production demands.

Job role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced

Industrial Manager

to lead and optimise our

sheet metal

fabrication and installation operations within a busy manufacturing setting.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, in budget and according to safety standards.

You will be responsible for supervising the team, working closely with planning and operations, managing inventory, ensuring equipment maintenance and driving efficiency.

Key responsibilities:

Manage daily sheet metal operations including reviewing plans, maximising machine efficiency, review blueprints/drawings to ensure accuracy in fabrication and installation Monitor progress and resolve issues arising during production or installation Lead, train, and motivate the team to meet performance and safety standards Develop and enforce health and safety protocols in compliance with regulatory requirements Manage material procurement and inventory levels Ensure proper maintenance and operation of fabrication equipment and tools Ensure all products meet design specifications, tolerances and quality standards Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency Monitor budgets and identify cost savings Lead the ongoing development of the

5S system (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain)

Develop KPIs and dashboards to track progress and drive accountability

Experience and Skills to be considered:

Proven experience in sheet metal fabrication and team management In depth knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes, HVAC duct systems and installation best practices Knowledge of Amada CNC laser, punch and folding machines and processes. Strong reading and interpretation skills of blueprints, CAD drawings and specifications Proficient in MS office, ERP and AutoCAD Strong leadership and team management skills: self-awareness, development, empathy, respect, vision, analytical, decisiveness, adaptability. Strategic Planning & Execution Problem Solving & Root Cause Analysis Cost Control & Budgeting Risk Management & Complianc Good knowledge and experience of Continuous Improvement and Lean manufacturing methods (5S). Have excellent communication skills across all levels of an organisation. Excellent organizational and planning skills utilized in a fast-paced, physically active environment.
