Industry Placement Coordinator

We are excited to offer this opportunity for a passionate, organised, and proactive Industry Placement Coordinator to join our team.

In this role you will:

Build strong relationships with employers to create high-quality industry placements and work experience opportunities. Work closely with academic staff to identify placement opportunities that align with the curriculum and meet student needs. Liaise with employers to carry out due diligence, risk assessments, and ensure they understand their responsibilities for safeguarding, supervision, and training. Monitor and review student progress during placements through workplace visits, observations, and feedback sessions. Promote progression opportunities such as apprenticeships, further study, or employment.

What you will bring to the role:

Experience in a customer-facing role, with the ability to build positive relationships. Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with a wide range of individuals involved in work placements. A strong understanding of and commitment to equal opportunities. Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
