The Department prides itself on the extensive and growing interactions with industry over a range of activities including research collaborations, our Modular Bioprocess Industry Training (MBI) and VISION continuing professional development (CPD) programmes. This is an exciting opportunity to make an impact on a core activity within the department that has high visibility both internally and externally.
About the role Working with the MBI Programme Director, the Coordinator will be responsible for the management and delivery of our award-winning CPD courses and related industry events. This highly operational role involves coordination, programme and administrative management, and delivery, including: Course Coordination Leadership:
Lead the end-to-end operational delivery of MBI and VISION CPD courses, coordinating with academic Module Leaders to ensure seamless execution- managing enquiries, recruitment, financial management, course event planning.
Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for high-level industry clients, providing first-class customer service and building long-term professional relationships with all stakeholders and speakers.
Course Recruitment: Collaborate with the Strategic Alliance Manager to design and execute marketing strategies, managing our website and actively growing our social media presence and contacts database to identify new leads, and drive delegate recruitment for our portfolio.
Financial & Systems Oversight: Manage program budgets, ensure prompt invoicing, and maintain records within UCL systems.
Business Growth: Lead on project management of new course creation or related activities to support with showcasing the departments excellence and expertise in key areas of interest to industry.
Continual Improvement: evaluating existing procedures with the MBI Programme Director, designing new and improved ways of working.
About you The successful should have experience dealing with client enquiries, project management and event-co-ordination and marketing skills. They should be self-motivated with strong communication skills and be able to problem solve. We are looking for someone who is dynamic and proactive and keen to support with taking our CPD programme to the next level.
