As an Enterprise Architect within Group Architecture - a division of Technology, Data and Innovation (TDI) --supporting teams in designing, evolving, and implementing data architectures that align with the enterprise target state and enable scalable, compliant, and interoperable solutions.


You will also serve as the go-to expert on our enterprise data landscape to define and measure how it should evolve and to enable teams to deliver the right changes in an efficient and controlled manner. This role is ideal for an experienced data professional with strong solution architecture and design skills, solid understanding of banking processes and functions, and a proven ability to influence design decisions across both business and technology teams.

Your key responsibilities



Support teams in designing, evolving, and implementing data architectures that align with the enterprise target state and enable scalable, compliant, and interoperable solutions Lead and contribute to solution architecture for key programs, ensuring architectural decisions are well-documented, justified, and aligned to enterprise principles. Work with engineering and platform teams for designing data assets, integration patterns and reusable capabilities aligned to and supporting data management and control requirements Uplift how our data landscape is presented and explained, enhancing measurements for improvement and mitigating risks of non-compliant change, and enabling teams to better navigate the landscape to support their data needs and deliveries Document and present architectural recommendations to both technical and senior audiences with clarity and confidence Act as an advisor and architectural leader across initiatives -- mentoring junior architects and supporting federated architecture teams in delivery.

Your skills and experience



Extensive experience in data architecture, data integration or enterprise architecture Significant Financial Services sector experience with exposure to banking processes and functions, preferably within a global financial institution. Proven track record of analysing and understanding complex data landscapes with the ability to make sense of complex and disparate metadata Hands-on experience with data platforms, metadata-driven architecture, data integration and architectural patterns for real-time and batch processing Strong grasp of data governance, data quality, privacy, and regulatory compliance concepts--especially as they intersect with architectural decision-making. Strategic mindset, with the ability to connect architectural goals to business value, and influence and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience working across business domains including Risk, Finance, Treasury, or Front Office functions
