  • Salary Range (based on candidate experience): \xc2\xa360k to \xc2\xa375k
  • Office Location: Central London
  • Hybrid Model: 2 days per week in Central London, 3 days remote

About the Client and the Role:

My client, a highly renowned, globally operating law firm are seeking an experienced Information Security Analyst with strong knowledge of Information Security to join the Security Operations team on a permanent basis, and support the ongoing of info and cyber security across the enterprise.

Responsibilities will include (but not restricted to) monitoring, analysing and helping to optimise security functionality throughout the complex infrastructure - with the goal of identifying and remediating threats and constantly hardening the systems.

Day to Day Responsibilities:
  • Conducting information security focused reviews and analysis
  • Supporting Microsoft (cloud) based security technologies
  • Provide a point of escalation for security-related events for the Service Desk, IT and support teams with respect to
  • Applying security best practices and frameworks
  • Monitor in-place security solutions throughout the infrastructure (including workstations, Servers, network devices & traffic etc.), analysing results, investigating alerts for appropriate action
  • Assist with the management and operation of security controls.
  • Help automate/optimise security controls
  • Leading security incidents, identification, and remediation.
  • Provide incident response if and when required, working with global team to help mitigate and resolve incidents.
  • Develop maintain and implement system hardening procedures.
  • Maintain up-to-date detailed knowledge of the IT Security industry, including the development of new attacks and threat vectors.
Candidate Requirements:
  • 3 to 5 years experience in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of security best practices and frameworks (ISO, NIST etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft tech and security tools
  • Knowledge of Firewalls, routing & switch, OSI model and associated protocols.
  • Experience of a range of security monitoring tools
  • Demonstrable knowledge of SOC responsibilities
  • Related education/professional security certifications
  • (Desirable) Previous experience in a legal/financial sector
