We are seeking a skilled and forward thinking Data Management & Reporting Manager to support the delivery of commissions and services across the Company's growing client base, enabling data-driven decision making across the business. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to shaping the the future of our use of digital solutions to support exceptional client service delivery. You'll work closely with a broad range of stakeholders to understand their information systems, data management and reporting needs.
Duties
Design, build and maintain system, dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power Platform, SQL/Dataverse, VBA, PowerShell and advanced Excel.
Automate manual processes by sourcing, mapping and structuring information to improve reporting efficiency.
Maintain data catalogues and ensure internal documentation meets best practice standards.
Deliver training and support to internal teams to enable self-service analytics and foster a data-literate culture.
Collaborate on the development of digital solutions that enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
Work with the Head of IT to develop and implement information management and sharing procedures.
Establish and manage Common Data Environments (CDE's) for clients, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
Monitor and evaluate CDE and data management systems, ensuring they support effective project reporting.
Oversee and train project team members in the daily use of CDE's and ensure adherence to regulatory and company information standards
Manage incoming datasets and monitor deliverables against Master Information Delivery Plans (MIDPs)
Other duties include:
Assess current system performance and make recommendations for software, hardware and storage improvements.
Support the development of strategic information management approached in collaboration with the Head of IT.
Assist in maintaining digital security protocols to protect sensitive project data.
Prepare and deliver impactful presentations to a range of stakeholders, both internal and external.
Experience
Proven experience in data analysis, reporting, and dashboard development.
Strong experience in information and data management across complex, multi-disciplinary teams.
Skilled in scripting, data modelling, and implementing automated solutions.
Ability to define technical requirements and integrate reporting and workflow tools via APIs.
Advanced Excel capabilities and experience with Power BI, Power Apps, and SharePoint.
Strong understanding of GDPR and data protection regulations.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Bachelor's degree in Information Sciences, Computer Engineering or a related field (or equivalent level qualification).
Proactive and capable of managing tasks independently in a fast-paced environment.
A collaborative mindset and a solution-oriented approach.
Security-conscious and committed to safeguarding data integrity.
Strong analytical thinker with excellent presentation and problem-solving skills.
Comfortable translating complex technical issues into plain language for diverse audiences.
It would also be beneficial if you have:
Previous experience working with capital projects or operational project data.
Experience working within multi-organisation teams and high-pressure environments.
Understanding of digital security systems and infrastructure.
