About the Role




Rochdale Council is seeking a proactive and skilled

Information Systems Development Officer

to join our Digital, ICT and Transformation department on a temporary 12-month contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the ongoing development of our

Liquidlogic Children's System (LCS)

, ensuring it continues to meet the evolving needs of

Children's Services

.


You will work closely with our

Business Analyst

and key stakeholders across the council to design, configure, and implement system enhancements that improve service delivery and user experience.

Key Responsibilities



Develop and configure the

LCS case management system

in line with service requirements. Collaborate with the Business Analyst to gather, analyse, and translate business needs into technical solutions. Support testing, documentation, and deployment of system changes. Liaise with Children's Services to ensure system developments align with operational priorities. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for system users. Maintain accurate records of system changes and configurations.

About you




We're looking for someone with:

Experience in information systems development, ideally within a local authority or public sector setting. Knowledge of case management systems, preferably Liquidlogic. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
