ROLE SUMMARY

Providing technical support and services, often focusing on specific systems or products, with a focus on efficiency and cost-effectiveness.


IT Shared Services Engineer: Focuses on technical support for IT infrastructure and applications.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Technical Support and Troubleshooting:

+ Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to specific systems, products, or services.
+ Provide remote and on-site technical support to internal and external clients.
+ Document and maintain knowledge base for troubleshooting and resolutions.

Process Improvement and Automation:

+ Identify areas for process improvement and automation within the shared services environment.
+ Develop and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new processes and technologies.

Project Management:

+ Manage small to medium-sized projects related to shared services initiatives.
+ Develop project plans, track progress, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Communication and Collaboration:

+ Maintain clear and effective communication with stakeholders, both internal and external.
+ Collaborate with other engineers, technicians, and support staff to ensure smooth operations.

Compliance and Documentation:

+ Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of systems, procedures, and processes.

REQUIREMENTS:

Relevant experience in technical support, engineering, or a similar role. Experience with shared services or outsourcing environments is a plus.
