Infrastructure & DevOps Engineer - High-Performance Distributed Systems



Location:

Remote - (Europe-friendly time zones preferred)

Compensation:

$160K - $300K


We are reengineering blockchain infrastructure from first principles to make global digital markets as

precise and dependable as physical systems

. Built on a leading high-performance layer-1 network, our platform delivers

deterministic execution, guaranteed inclusion, and low-latency performance

. We are hiring an

Infrastructure & DevOps Engineer

to lead critical engineering efforts that drive the performance and scalability of our next-generation distributed systems.


You will join a highly proficient team of core engineers, focusing on

Rust systems programming

, infrastructure architecture (Kubernetes), and operational scripting. Your work will span the full stack, from bare metal to application interfaces, and will directly support our platform which connects the L1 network with advanced L2 extensions. You will drive high-quality, frequent code shipments, engage in deep architectural discussions, and apply a coherent system design philosophy to advance the industry.

Key Responsibilities:



Infrastructure Leadership:

Lead critical engineering efforts to drive the performance and scalability of our distributed systems.

System Operations:

Hit the ground running with cluster health management,

Flux deployments

, and

validator support

.

Architecture & Code:

Design and implement

opinionated architectural choices

across our stack (Kubernetes, AWS/GCP, Terraform), and uphold software best practices.

Security:

Implement infrastructure and data security practices, including

KMS and HashiCorp Vault

.

Custom Solutions:

Develop custom operations, which will require strong coding skills and a good grasp of the underlying network specifics.

Observability:

Utilize tools like Prometheus/Thanos for robust monitoring and maintain high standards for system design and code quality.

Requirements



Experience:

4+ years of experience

in infrastructure engineering, preferably within high-standard fintech, data, cloud, or DevOps environments.

DevOps/SRE Expertise:

Strong

DevOps/SRE fundamentals

(GitOps, GCP, CI/CD, monitoring, etc.).

Blockchain Knowledge:

Deep understanding of the

Solana ecosystem

, and ideally experience with

MEV

(on Solana or Ethereum).

Core Systems:

Familiarity and ability to work with our core infrastructure stack:

Kubernetes, Terraform/Terragrunt, Helm, HashiCorp Vault, and FluxCD

.

Software Skills:

Strong software development skills (Rust, Go, or TypeScript).

Security:

Experience with infrastructure and data security practices, including

KMS and HashiCorp Vault

.

Communication:

Strong written and spoken English communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:



Experience operating

validators on distributed networks

. Active engagement with the

blockchain security research community

(open-source contributions, publications, or speaking).
