OVERVIEW:

Are you our next Inhouse Legal Counsel to provide advice and support across the Gymshark business?

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

This role exists to provide timely, pragmatic & commercially focused legal advice and support to all business functions to mitigate legal risk across the group and protect Gymshark's interests & assets. The role has a commercial focus with some support across IP, brand protection and GDPR / privacy.

You will be responsible for:

Drafting and negotiating a wide range of contracts including influencer and athlete agreements, tech/SaaS agreements, consultancy agreements, recruitment terms and global consumer and B2B terms Providing advice on a range of commercial matters affecting all business functions Participation in the deployment of practical elements of the Legal Strategy taking ownership for specific legal projects Assisting with horizon scanning and implementing an internal legal training programme Designing and delivering training across the business relating to the above areas

You will be accountable for:

The development of collaborative relationships withs with all Gymshark business functions Driving knowledge sharing and good practice across all internal stakeholder groups Keeping up to date with legal developments as part of your CPD

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

Essential Criteria:

Qualified as a solicitor in England & Wales, with between 2-4 years PQE Experience in commercial or contract law gained in Private Practice or In House Willingness to learn and advise on relevant US and EU commercial law Experienced in AI / automated solutions or willingness to learn Excellent written & verbal communication skills High degree of professional ethics, integrity & gravitas Organisational skills Outstanding attention to detail Stakeholder management experience (ability to build trust and rapport) Proactive and able to use initiative Honest and reliable Willingness and ability to give and receive effective feedback, challenge and be challenged Commercial awareness

This is a hybrid role and would require the successful candidate to attend at least 3 days a week in GSIQ, Solihull, UK.
