The two-week paid work experience will provide an insight into a career as an in-house lawyer and work shadowing with RS's lawyers.
The internship:
This work experience is aimed at providing insight into the legal function of a large international organisation for a future aspiring lawyer
You will be invited to all team meetings
You will be set a presentation topic
There will be collaborative tasks
You will have the opportunity to meet other teams including: Sales, HR, Marketing, Cybersecurity, Digital and Tech

There are 9 team members in RS Group's Legal & Compliance Team. The central legal team offers international advice across the business.

To be eligible to apply, you should be:
Interested in pursuing an in-house legal career.
A final year university student ora recent graduate who has achieved a 2.1 grade.
Studied a law degree or STEM subject, e.g. engineering of Chemistry but want to qualify as a lawyer through LPC or SQE.
A candidate from a lower socio economic background - this is a social mobility internship designed to improve inclusion for aspiring solicitors in legal profession. As part of your application, you will be asked to provide more details of your background and upbringing, particularly related to your education and social background.
An interest in tech would be useful
Someone who is currently not in full-time legal employment or who has not already secured a training contract.
