We have a fantastic internal recruitment opportunity based in Radlett where the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the talent acquisition journey including attraction, sourcing and selection strategies through to offer. You will ensure a positive experience for all candidates and hiring managers, alongside supporting internal talent development including performance reviews and L&D activities.

The ideal candidate will hold 2 + years\xe2\x80\x99 experience within an internal recruitment position and have previously worked within a target driven role, working to meet KPIs.

This is a fully office-based role, Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.30pm.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all talent acquisition, both permanent or fixed term and contract recruitment across the school, partnering with Hiring Managers to advise on appropriate selection methods, to ensure attraction of quality and fit for purpose candidates.
  • Assist hiring managers through the approval process, briefings and engagement with agencies and provide data on temporary numbers, spend and suppliers regularly to ensure effective recruitment and best practice.
  • Undertake all Safer Recruitment checks for successful candidates updating the single central register (SCR) to ensure the screening data held is readily available on staff files and compliance.
  • Support the accurate processing and recording of all employees screening checks, such as DBS identity checks, right to work in the UK and references etc.
  • Interact with stakeholders across a range of internal departments to gain knowledge of specific business areas and to offer talent acquisition expertise and advice.
  • Conduct \xe2\x80\x98Engagement Meetings\xe2\x80\x99 with line managers to discuss talent needs and ensure concise and detailed process is in place for sourcing and selecting candidates.
  • Attending or supporting with career fairs
  • Undertake interviews on interview panels, taking a proactive approach to questioning and discussing feedback to ensure a smooth recruitment process and improve talent attraction.
  • Facilitate the sourcing process by utilising direct sourcing skills and market knowledge, using a range of tools and innovative methods to attract high quality and diverse talent.
  • Liaise with both external and internal candidates of all levels, collaborating with the
  • People Operations team and Payroll to ensure a smooth onboarding handover and customer focused candidate experience always.
  • Assist & support the Talent & People Development Lead with all EDI&B & wellbeing related activities.
  • Manage agency relationships and negotiation of competitive terms and manage temporary agency staffing requests ensuring access to agency partners for each type of role, including hard to fill roles and sourcing new agencies for wider reach.

Candidate requirements
  • Significant experience of recruitment and hiring in both permanent and contract roles
  • Significant experience of successfully utilising a range of direct sourcing methods
  • Demonstrable experience of working in a target driven role, meeting KPI\xe2\x80\x99s
  • Demonstrable experience in building relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrable experience in managing CRM systems, ideally HR systems / ATS.
  • Understanding of recruitment and attraction strategies and methods
  • Understanding of data protection and confidentiality
  • Highly developed communication skills, verbally and in writing
  • Developed organisational skills.
  • Developed IT skills, including Office 365 and CRM
