What's the role?




The Recruitment team plays a key role in our collaborative, supportive, and highly valued HR department.


This is a fast-paced and varied in-house recruitment role, with an operational delivery focus, where you will work across both our core and diversified business lines (e.g. Pensions Actuarial, Investment Consulting, Digital Services, Business Development, Finance and others)


Working with Team Leaders, Managers and Partners, you will support and advise them throughout the recruitment lifecycle, ensuring a robust yet agile process that successfully attracts and delivers high calibre talent. You'll also actively contribute to onboarding activities, working with the wider HR team to deliver a smooth transition from offer acceptance to day one, while following clearly defined processes.


As part of the recruitment team you will proactively contribute to recruitment focused projects, supporting the Senior In-House recruiter with innovating new people attraction ideas, and embracing new technologies which will help evolve our recruitment practices and processes.


Hybrid working is available for this position on a basis of 2-3 days per week in our office in Winchester (with travel to other sites as required)

What will you be doing?




Your key responsibilities will focus on the specific areas detailed below.

Core Recruitment Delivery



Manage the full end-to-end recruitment and onboarding process across your designated internal client groups, from pipeline to the point of offer and contract negotiation Coordinate interviews, make room bookings, conduct interviews and send out testing as required Produce and send offer letters to successful candidates, following our internal "Do, Check, Review" process Maintain and update key recruitment tracking documents, ensuring data is filled in accurately and always kept up to date Plan and execute key recruitment related projects throughout the year working to set deadlines (e.g. PSL review and annual salary benchmarking data collection) Support with on-going reporting projects, adding value by collecting and presenting valuable data which will help shape recruitment projects and activities over the longer term Maintain the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) for all roles to ensure accurate reporting Work with other HR colleagues to facilitate a smooth onboarding experience for new joiners, facilitating referencing background checks alongside other requirements Update and/or build a comprehensive suite of recruitment and assessment tools and evolve as and when required Pro-actively source talent for a selection of vacancies using a range of channels (LinkedIn, CV databases, Networking, agencies, etc.) with a focus on direct recruitment over time in line with the recruitment strategy, reducing agency spend and promoting and supporting initiatives to encourage staff to use our internal employee referral programme Support International recruitment as and when needed, including processes for recruiting candidates requiring Skilled Worker visas who may or may not be already located in the UK Liaise with the Learning & Development team as needed in respect of new joiners professional qualifications requirements (FIA, CFA etc.) Monitor generic recruitment inboxes and respond to queries as needed

Stakeholder Management



Build close working relationships with key recruitment stakeholders, advising on market trends and insights to help guide and steer resourcing approaches Promote a "recruitment matters" philosophy across the business Actively contribute and influence the recruitment process, providing best practice advice to hiring managers, advising on appropriate selection methods, interviews, interview standards and influencing decisions with a keen focus on supporting DEI Build and maintain excellent relationships with partner recruitment agencies, negotiate preferential terms and evolve the PSL as and when required Work closely with the wider HR team and hiring managers/People Leaders at all levels, including senior stakeholders, to ensure a detailed understanding of resourcing needs

Employer Branding



Act as an employer brand ambassador for LCP, attracting a diverse candidate range and delivering a first-class candidate experience at all stages of the recruitment process Promote open roles, company updates and culture using channels like LinkedIn on a regular basis Develop knowledge of the competitor market, identifying, and engaging with exceptional talent in the marketplace and developing relationships within the industry to ensure that you are aware of competitor trends/conditions of service/benefits/salaries to ensure that LCP always remain competitive

What experience, skills and qualities are we looking for?



A proven track record of in-house recruitment experience is

essential

(experience in a professional services environment is highly desirable) A practical, hands-on working knowledge of matters related to UKVI, Skilled Worker visas, other forms of right to work and the sponsorship management system Excellent attention to detail and a critical, risk-aware mindset Confidence in following established processes and challenging them when appropriate Experience using a range of recruitment technologies (Applicant Tracking System, reporting functions) Knowledge of HR policies and procedures surrounding recruitment along with knowledge of recruitment legislation including Right to Work and the Equality Act A commercial, forward-thinking approach to recruitment and onboarding - balancing candidate and business needs A keen interest in employer branding and a drive to promote our business via appropriate external mediums Outstanding communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels A proactive, results-driven approach, combined with a collaborative, team-orientated mindset Comprehensive Microsoft Word and Excel knowledge
