It is responsible for major brands like Muller Corner, Mullerlight, Muller Bliss, Muller Rice, FRijj and Muller Kefir Smoothie and produces chilled desserts under licence from Mondelez International. It also supplies the UK private label yogurt market from a dedicated, state of the art yogurt facility.



Muller Yogurts and Desserts are recruiting for a Total Asset Care Training Specialist at out Market Drayton site.

As a Training Specialist you will be working directly with Unit Managers, MPS Tech Experts, Operators, Technical Trainers, relevant members of the Maintenance Team and the wider OpEx Team to identify skill development using production loss and related engineering data to build the right capability in Unit Teams across the three sites.

You will also be responsible for the conduit between engineering expertise and operator up-skilling and help provide the necessary knowledge and skills for operators to undertake Operator Asset Care, driving ownership within their units and in turn help impact relevant KPIs.

Main Task and Responsibilities:

Responsible for the coaching of Operator Asset Care and Preventative Maintenance tools, techniques and systems to Unit Team members in order to build right capability in Unit Teams across the three sites. Support operators, engineers and relevant site teams and functions to understand the principles of Operator Asset Care, its importance, and the role they play in uplifting performance. Ensure the Competency framework is maintained with the most up to date competency requirements and the training material is available to support up-skilling. Collaborate with the central OpEx team to develop the Operator Asset Care and Preventative Maintenance training programme, outlining all the development needs for operators and technicians, ensuring the relevant training programme is in place to support their development ensuring there is a high level of technical competence within the operating team. Coach and mentor others on OAC and PM Principles, tools and techniques to ensure implementation is completed to a high level of effectiveness Deliver RCA, BDA and other PM training to Maintenance teams. Make recommendations based on experience to enhance effectiveness of the Muller Production System.

Skills and Experience

Qualified apprentice TPM Expertise Lean Six Sigma black belt, LCS 2B, Engineering graduate or HND minimum. Experience or understanding of engineering and maintenance procedures including fault finding. Planning & Prioritising Effectively Communicating across multiple stakeholders Mentoring & Coaching
