Overview


We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for working with metal. This role involves fabricating and welding components to precise specifications, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the production process. You will be working with various materials, including sheet metal, and utilising both hand tools and power tools to assemble finished products.

Duties



Fabricate metal components according to engineering drawings and specifications. Perform welding tasks using stick welding techniques to join materials effectively. Assemble parts and structures using hand tools and power tools, ensuring accuracy and quality in every step. Conduct inspections of finished products to verify adherence to quality standards. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and improve efficiency. Utilise basic maths skills for measurements and calculations during fabrication tasks.

Experience



Proven experience in fabrication and welding, with a strong understanding of mechanical principles. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment is essential. Experience working with sheet metal is highly desirable. A solid foundation in basic maths is necessary for precise measurements and calculations. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: From 14.50 per hour
