Summary

As an Injection Mould Setter, you will be integral to the plastics injection molding process, ensuring optimal machine setup and operation. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, your role requires strong mechanical knowledge and expertise in fabrication and programmable logic controllers. You will utilize premium skills in SolidWorks and CAD to enhance production efficiency. Additionally, your relevant experience with hand tools, materials handling, and basic math will support seamless operations. Responsibilities for Mould Setter:

To set and optimise the injection moulding process to achieve the best processing conditions.

Fault finding and troubleshooting of development and production processes.

Maintain departmental records and reports.

Provide support to tool design function when required.

Provide support to production when required.

To identify and arrange for rectification of defective equipment.

To deputise for assistant manager in his absence.

To assist and develop colleagues within the department

To ensure the department fully complies with current Health and Safety Regulations, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

To carry out any reasonable tasks which fall within your capabilities.

Qualifications

IMT Level 3 advantageous
